Congratulations, Thaisa!

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate our former trainee and research analyst, Thaisa, for receiving the prestigious Excellence in Health Equity Research Award by the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM). Thaisa’s work blends the precision of science with the empathy of art to challenge long-standing barriers and stigmas surrounding sex, gender, and intersectionality in traumatic brain injury. Her research represents a powerful step toward more inclusive, equitable care and will be featured at this year’s ACRM Conference in Chicago on 25-30 October 2025.

Congratulations, Thaisa — your work is reshaping the future of rehabilitation research. We are extremely proud!

Congratulations, Daniel!

We are so proud of our trainee, Daniel, for receiving travel funding from the CCNA Training and Capacity Building Program to attend the CCNA Annual Conference on October 15-16 in Calgary.
